Next promo blog post, "Old School" is in Kate hands and scheduled for Aug 7th posting. If others could post to FB, etc and put together the mandatory thread for that week, thank you.

Glad you like the blog post. As always I'm open to any suggestions for improvement. I'm no blogger and have much to learn. Any advice is appreciated.
Next promo blog post is scheduled for Sept 4, "Falling for Vintage". Capture the essence of autumn style at Vintage and Main. Make a wardrobe statement with seasonal vintage fashion accessories & spice up your home with dramatic fall colors. I'm thinking warmer fall colors, home decor and fashion, plus including a limited number of fall photography images from other Etsy shops and referring to them as featured guests. We'll notify these shops with all the promo links to help go our reach & support. If you have any shops in mind that have great SM followings, please tell me.

I sent a convo to Kate today asking her to update some of the blog info, to remove the latest prodigal shops and add Betty (P&H) and Renee. Also asked if those listed as leadership could be down to those in the leaders' forum here and to switch out the Indulgy link for our new Polyvore link.

Giving some thought to the blog theme calendar. Remember when we had threads where folks could post things to be in the Wanelo or Tumblr themed thread? Wonder if it's worth doing a blog thread similar to those. People might have things they want to renew or list for a certain theme. Just throwing it out there for your thoughts. Now that we are on a regular blog schedule people might get more invested in it.

I think that's a great idea, Marilyn!

Marilyn ~ I'm good with any ideas to get people more invested. You could even do a a mid month blog post without any theme using a sign up thread. I was doing a sign up thread for the week promos, but just haven't had the time to get that going again. We can do that again if desired.

I'm happy to do a mid month blog post as long as it doesn't overburden Kate. Perhaps if I can give her a regular schedule - every other Sunday she'll get something from me - it would be manageable. Since it sounds in the banter like the polyvore honeymoon is over for selling, this might be a timely alternative. Must say tho the sets are apparently popular with our IG followers as Mary said yesterday in the threads.

For promos I think polyvore is an excellent collage tool.

Gaz - I wasn't quite sure where we left things and I didn't want to drop the ball. I'm happy to do a mid month blog post and a thread people can post to to promote items. Would you like me to email Kate and ask her if that would be manageable for her if I maintained a predictable schedule for getting things to her? Don't want to overstep. Thanks!

Sounds good to me Marilyn. Hand picking a cohesive selection from FRESH PICKS might be the easiest thing for you to do (rather then a sign up) and then include the link back to curated FRESH PICKS list. That way you are featuring fresh listings and shops that are actively listing.

Thanks Gaz. I'm due to get a blog post to Kate this week that'll be for the beginning of March. I'll ask her then if every other week is doable for her. Perhaps what I'll do is link the first of the month to the theme and then a mid month What's Fresh at Vintage and Main.
I see the theme for the first week of March is mid century modern, which Laura has defined broadly (which gives the opportunity to use a variety of items) so I'll put something together on that theme.
